The Tarot is a truly incredible heirloom vintage Moroccan rug. With it's rich jewel tones, detailed diamond patterning and soft wool, this rug is a very beautiful collectors piece and a true treasure. We love the luxuriously deep hues of burgundy, charcoal saffron, ivory and sage through this magical rug.
Rugs of this vintage and quality are hard to find. Made by skilled craftswomen many decades ago (we estimate it was crafted in the mid-century), this rug is well cared for, and in truly excellent condition. It is beautifully weighted with neat, dense knotting and gorgeous original tassels. It features a medium pile and is lovely and soft under foot. The wool carries a subtle lustre which speaks to the high quality of the virgin wool, sourced from the Atlas mountains many years ago and naturally dyed with deep jewel-like hues.

They may be up to 30 - 60 years old or sometimes even older, which is testament to the quality and craftsmanship of their makers.
